Welcome to the 9th District Website!
As Councilwoman of the Ninth District, I want to let you know about many things we have going on in our community. We have many areas of strong community involvement and the links below are just a small part of what's going on.

The 9th Metro Council District is comprised of the following neighborhoods and small cities: Bellwood, Brownsboro Village, Greenleaves, Butchertown, Cherokee Gardens, Cherokee Woods, Seneca/Rock Creek, Clifton, Clifton Heights, Crescent Hill, Irish Hill, Richlawn, Lexington Road Preservation Area and a small western portion of St. Matthews.

Upcoming 9th District Meetings/Events:  For a complete listing of community events please visit the blog by clicking here. 

  • Saturday, May 11: 9th District FREE One Stop Drop responsible recycling event from 9:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. in the lower parking lot of Mellwood Arts Center, across from Mom's Music.  See a full list of items that will be accepted to recycle or repurpose.  Accepted items include paper for shredding, shoes, clothing, household furniture, cell phones and handheld electronics, and more.  If you would like to volunteer for this event to help direct traffic or unload cars, please call 574-1109.
