Council members work with Industry leaders, LMPD and others to improve scrap metal legislation
In response to the continued rise in theft of scrap metal, Metro Council leaders have requested a meeting with business leaders in the scrap metal industry along with officials at LMPD, the Jefferson County Attorney’s Office and the Commonwealth Attorney’s Office to develop amendments to the scrap metal ordinance in Louisville.
