Louisville, KY – Metro Councilman Robin Engel (District 22) will participate in the Grand Opening of the Down Syndrome Life Long Learning Center on Sunday, September 18th (5001 South Hurstbourne Parkway) at 2:00 p.m. The center is dedicated to serving all ages of individuals with Down syndrome by providing comprehensive educational/therapeutic services to enhance their personal development throughout their lifetime. The modern 18,980 sq. ft. facility will allow the organization to grow its services to meet the needs of the community. A comprehensive post-secondary program designed for our adults, a full time summer enrichment program for school age children and on-campus therapy services are just a few examples of expanded services to begin at this new facility.
