The day after Christmas, Fourth Division officers of Louisville Metro Police impounded a vehicle used to transport stolen copper and other items after the report of a break in on Craig Avenue. The impoundment is the first of its kind since the Metro Council amended the scrap metal ordinance last year.

The Metro Council has approved an ordinance sponsored by Councilman David Yates (D-25) that caps the amount of money that can be paid for legal representation during an administrative hearing of a Metro Officer before the Louisville Metro Ethics Commission.
