Transportation and Public Works Committee to be updated on Louisville Arena Traffic Plan Wednesday

The Metro Council’s Transportation and Public Works Committee will get an update on how traffic flow around the new Downtown Arena from officials with the Louisville Arena Authority this Wednesday, March 3rd.
“I think it is important for the Committee and the public to know how a large volume of traffic will move in and out of downtown as major events get underway at the new arena,” says Councilwoman Cheri Bryant Hamilton (D-5) who chairs the Committee.
Hamilton has invited Jim Host, Chair of the Louisville Arena Authority and Phil Scherer of the Main Street Association to the meeting. The meeting will take place in Council Chambers, 601 Jefferson Street. It begins at 3:00pm.
