It will be a chance to talk with Louisville Metro Police, Metro Council members, have breakfast and raise money all at the same time.
On Saturday April 5th, LMPD will host a Pancake Breakfast at the Southwest Government Center 7219 Dixie Highway. The breakfast will get underway from 8:30 am to 11:00am.
“We are looking forward to talking with people over breakfast,” says Councilman Rick Blackwell (D) 12. “This is a chance to let us know if we need to address a problem and a good chance to meet the men and women of Metro Police.
Joining Blackwell will be Council members Vicki Aubrey Welch (D) 13, Bob Henderson (D) 14, and Dan Johnson (D) 21.
If you plan to attend, donations of $4 are being suggested to help raise money for the Kids, Cops and Christmas program.
“We have some hard working officers in this area,” says Welch. “Aside from keeping us safe, they are also involved in helping many areas of our community.”
“Everyone should come out and help these officers,” says Henderson. “Get to know who the people who patrol your area. You can be a great asset to your neighborhood when you work with police.”
