Councilwoman Woolridge to speak at Audubon Traditional School Career Day

At the invitation of Audubon Traditional School, Councilwoman Mary C. Woolridge (D) 3 will participate in a Career Day on Wednesday, April 2nd.
“I am looking forward to talking with young people about government and my job as a Metro Councilwoman,” says Woolridge. “It should be a fun day.”
Woolridge will speak to a class of first graders at 1:35pm and then will talk to a class of fourth graders at 2:10pm. The Councilwoman will talk about her role as an elected public official as well as how ordinances and laws have an impact on their lives. She will be available to answer questions from the children.
“I enjoy the chance meet with the children and their teachers and I hope they will learn more about community service by the time this Career Day is over,” says Woolridge.
