Council members Adams and Call to hold community meeting, wellness fair

District 18 Councilwoman Julie Raque Adams and District 26 Councilwoman Ellen Call will hold a joint community meeting and wellness fair for their districts from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 15.
The meeting will be held in the community room at St. Margaret Mary, 7813 Shelbyville Road.
The wellness fair will include flu shots for $20, pneumonia shots for $25 and several free health tests, such as colon cancer screenings, blood pressure analysis, body fat analysis and flexibility screenings. The wellness fair is sponsored by Jewish Hospital Healthcare Services & the Visiting Nurses Association.
In addition, representatives from local government will be available to answer questions.
