The Louisville Metro Council's ad hoc committee studying a proposed smoking ban will meet at 4 p.m. Monday, Nov. 10th, on the third floor of City Hall, 601 W. Jefferson St.

Councilman George Melton, D-15, the committee's chairman, said Monday's meeting will focus on legal issues. Members will hear from attorneys representing local businesses and the American Lung Association, and will hear an overview of the legal issues surrounding Lexington's smoking ban.

Future meetings will focus on economic development issues; health-related issues; and alternatives to the proposed smoking ban.
