The Louisville Metro Council's Planning and Zoning Committee will hold a special meeting at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday to consider changes to the Alternative Development Incentives (ADI) adopted in March as part of the Land Development Code. The meeting will be held in the first floor conference room of City Hall, 601 W. Jefferson St.

A vote is expected to be taken on the changes at the meeting.

The Alternative Development Incentives offers developers incentives to build affordable and mixed-use housing, and outlines standards for neighborhood features, such as proximity to a bus line.

"These proposed changes are the result of input from everybody who has an interest in ADI, from metro council members to developers to neighbors to the affordable housing community to zoning attorneys," said Councilwoman Tina Ward-Pugh, D-9, chairwoman of the Zoning Committee. "They represent a consensus that has been reached after three months of assessing how ADI has worked since March."
