Louisville Metro Council President Ron Weston has been named Fairdale High School’s 2003 Distinguished Alumnus. Weston, a 1966 graduate of the high school, was awarded the honor during last Friday night’s graduation ceremonies

“A large part of what are called ‘my accomplishments’ are actually group efforts,” Weston told the assembly, “and I owe a great debt to my family, and my friends, this community and this very institution, for their support and trust and participation in those successes.”
