The third annual Santa at City Hall toy drive will kick off from 7 a.m. until 9 a.m. Monday at the corner of Sixth and Jefferson Streets.

Councilman Bob Henderson, D-14, and Councilwoman Denise Bentley, D-1, as Santa and Mrs. Claus respectively, will collect new, unwrapped toys from morning commuters to be given around Christmas Day to children when they visit their mothers in prison.

Toys will be collected at the same time and location Wednesday, Dec. 3; Monday, Dec. 8; and Wednesday, Dec. 10.

People who donate a present will receive a doughnut, donated by Krispy-Kreme Doughnuts, and coffee.

Councilwoman Bentley said the goal for this year's toy drive was 2,000 presents
