The State Funding Formula Workgroup will hold its next meeting at 4:30 p.m. Monday in the third floor conference room at City Hall.

The meeting, which is open to the public, will include information from the state Legislative Research Commission as well as a presentation about priorities for local road improvements.

The workgroup is examining state funding and formulas that send tax money back to Louisville. It will focus on how to begin addressing the inequity of tax dollars sent to Frankfort vs. funds returned to Louisville – an inequity that totals hundreds of millions of dollars each year.
