Councilwoman Cheri Bryant Hamilton will host a holiday reception for District 5 residents at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 21 at the Shawnee Golf Course Clubhouse, 460 Northwestern Parkway.

During the reception, awards will be presented for winners of the District 5 door decorating contest in the Portland, Russell, Shawnee and Chickasaw neighborhoods, and to community leaders who have shown a community spirit in helping others.
