Representatives of local utilities and public agencies will meet with the Metro Council's Transportation/ Public Works Committee to discuss their response to power outages and other service interruptions resulting from recent storms, according to Councilman Tom Owen, chairman of the committee. The meeting will be held at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Council Chambers, Third Floor of City Hall, 601 W. Jefferson St.

Representatives with LG&E, BellSouth, Louisville Water Company and MSD, as well as Metro Parks, Department of Solid Waste Management Services and Public Works, will be in attendance to report on their agencies' response and answer questions related to disruption in power and perceived delays in restoring power and accessibility to streets.
