Councilman James Peden, R-23, will hold a cleanup of McNeely Lake Park from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.

Gloves, trash bags and lunch will be provided. In addition, a band will be performing country and bluegrass music from noon until 2 p.m.

“McNeely Lake Park is a beautiful area,” Peden said. “But it has become overgrown with weeds and trash. This cleanup will go a long way in improving the look of the park.”

If you plan to participate, please call 574-1123 so the office can get an approximate number for supplies.
