Two local ordinances that would re-enact civil rights protections will be discussed next week during a special meeting of the Labor Relations/ Affirmative Action and Human Resources Committee. The meeting will be held at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Council Chambers, third floor of City Hall, 601 W. Jefferson St.

Councilman George Unseld, D-6, chairman of the committee, said the committee will set up the procedure for reviewing the two ordinances, which will include an opportunity for public input.

A vote on the ordinances is not expected.
