Metro Council President Barbara Shanklin announced today that interviews for candidates to fill the vacant District 1 council seat will begin at 3:30 p.m. Monday in the Council Chambers, third floor of City Hall.

Each of the 18 candidates will be interviewed, and each candidate will have up to 15 minutes to address the council, including time for opening and closing remarks and questions and answers.
