Louisville, KY - Louisville Metro Councilman Doug Hawkins will host a Methamphetamine Awareness Program on Friday, November 4, beginning at 7:00 p.m. The event will take place at the Southwest Government Center, located at 4919 Dixie Highway. Members of the public are invited and encouraged to attend.

Representatives of the Louisville Metro Police Department will be on hand to discuss the growing meth problem; the dangers associated with the production of the drug and the drug itself, what the production and sale of meth does to our communities, and how meth is actually produced. Representatives of the Metro United Way will also be in attendance.
