The Louisville Metro Council's ad hoc Arena Committee will meet at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 23 to hear from architects about the feasibility of locating an arena on a downtown block. The meeting will be held in the Council Chambers, third floor of City Hall.

During the meeting, Carlton Godsey of Carlton Godsey Associates will discuss whether an arena would fit on the proposed Louisville Water Company site. The Louisville-based architect firm designed the Kentucky International Convention Center, and worked in conjunction with arena designer firm Ellerbe-Beckett on previous arena proposals.

Members of the Citizen's Advisory subgroup have also been invited.
