Tenth District Councilman Jim King will visit with elementary school students Friday to talk about important tips for staying safe Halloween night.
Councilman King will meet with students in grades K-6 at Camp Taylor Elementary School, 1446 Belmar Drive, at 9:30 a.m. Each student at the school will receive a bag containing a list of the safety tips and a glow stick. He will also read a favorite Halloween book to the school's kindergarten class.
In addition, every student attending an elementary school in the 10th District - some 1,700 children - will receive the bag, with the safety tips and glow stick.
