Eighth District Councilman Tom Owen and other council members will meet with representatives of public agencies to discuss Metro snow removal efforts during the last two weeks of December. The meeting will be held at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Council Chambers, third floor of City Hall, 601 W. Jefferson St.

The discussion will focus on the plan for snow removal and opening of streets and roads; how well the plan was executed; what problems arose; and lessons learned that could improve the plan.

Representatives of Metro Public Works, Solid Waste Management Systems, Metro Parks, TARC, Emergency Management Agency and Metropolitan Sewer District have been asked to attend.

The meeting is expected to last one hour.
