Louisville, KY - Louisville Metro Councilman James Peden will participate in a ribbon cutting ceremony to officially open the refurbished Lake in the Woods Apartment Complex this Monday, August 15, at 11:30 a.m. The event will take place at 7100 Leisure Lane on Monday morning.
The ribbon cutting ceremony marks the end of a multi-million dollar reconstruction project on a formerly blighted apartment complex. The Lake in the Woods complex had been cited with hundreds of building code and health code violations, and was finally ordered to close by the courts.
“Unfortunately, this complex was an eyesore for way too long,” commented Peden. “We are happy to see these apartments redeveloped, and become a major asset to the McNeely Lake Park community.”
Please call Councilman Peden’s office at 574-1123 for more details.
