Second District Councilwoman Barbara Shanklin today announced that the 25th anniversary of Woody's Softball Tournament in Newburg will be held this weekend at Newburg Park, on Petersburg Road.

The event, the longest running softball tournament in the area according to Councilwoman Shanklin, begins at 10 a.m. Saturday and goes until 11 p.m. Games continue from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Sunday.
