Councilmen King, Tandy to announce initiative with Metro Police to deter crime

District 10 Councilman Jim King and District 4 Councilman David Tandy will join Louisville Metro Police officers to provide tips to residents on how to better protect their homes and neighborhoods, and access Metro services.
The group will also announce the allocation of additional funds from Councilmen King and Tandy to the 4th Division of Louisville Metro Police Department for overtime officers to patrol the neighborhoods of Germantown, Schnitzelburg, Paristown Pointe and St. Joseph's.
The announcement will take place at 1 p.m., Monday, Aug. 22nd at the corner of Swan Street and Oak Street (outside the Atomic Saucer Cafe, 1000 Ash St.)
