Councilmen George Unseld and David Tandy will join Christopher 2X and members of the youth focus group on Derby cruising to announce details for a symbolic initiative related to cruising.

The announcement will take place at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 8 at 12th and Broadway, the site of a fatal shooting during this year's cruising event.

Councilman Unseld, D-6, said the initiative would showcase how cruising can change to be a positive activity.
