Louisville, KY - Louisville Metro Councilman Ken Fleming will accept a gift on behalf of the Metro Council from the Louisville Chapter of the American Needlepoint Guild at Thursday’s Metro Council Meeting.

Fleming was first approached by the Guild shortly after the new Louisville Metro Government unveiled its logo in 2003. In search of a service project, Guild members chose to reproduce the new Metro Government logo in needlepoint.

The framed Metro Government logo, complemented by a letter detailing the Guild’s gift, will be permanently displayed on the first floor of City Hall. Councilman Fleming joins the Louisville Chapter of the American Needlepoint Guild in looking forward to many generations appreciating this unique depiction of the Metro Government logo.
