Louisville – With the holiday season officially underway, it’s can be a busy and hectic time for children and adults. Sometimes families might need a break. So this year, a special party will again be held for children.

“We want to make sure children in our area have a fun holiday, so we are continuing what I hope has become a fun tradition,” says Councilwoman Mary C. Woolridge (D) 3.

On Saturday, December 16th, the District 3 Holiday Party will get underway at the Hill Baptist Church, 2203 Dixie Highway. It will be held from 11:00am to 1:00pm.

The Radio Disney Extreme Team will be on hand to entertain with music and activities for the children. There will also be a coloring contest along plenty of great prizes and refreshments.

The party is for Children 12 and under and they must be accompanied by a parent or an adult.

“I would like for everyone to come and have some fun with us,” says Woolridge. “As a mother and grandmother, I enjoy the fun of the holidays and this will also give me a chance to talk with parents about how our office might be able to help them in the future.”

For more information about the Holiday party, call 574-1103.
