Prairie Village celebrates Opening Day

Louisville, KY - Prairie Village Baseball/Softball League will host a parade to celebrate their 50th year of existence this Friday, April 14th at 6:00pm. The parade will originate and conclude at Prairie Village (10007 Stonestreet Road). A ceremony recognizing past and present dignitaries will start at approximately 6:45pm and will last about an hour.
In addition to celebrating the opening of another season - players, families and friends of the league will recognize improvements made to Prairie Village’s Concession Stand and playground equipment improvement made possible by various donors including Councilman Doug Hawkins who contributed $55,000 in neighborhood development funds to assist in the construction of both projects.
