Whether your garden is located in your backyard, in a small planter on a deck or at one of Metro Louisville’s community gardens: you are invited to visit the Miles Park Community Gardens (15712 Shelbyville Road) to share some of your locally grown abundant produce with persons in need. Representatives from Kentucky Harvest will be at the park from 10:00 a.m. to Noon on Saturday, August 5 to collect home grown produce local residents bring to share. Your extra food will go a long way in ensuring that local residents have a well balanced meal. For more information on this event please contact the office of Councilman Hal Heiner at 574-1119
