Councilman James Peden, working with Metro Parks and Metro Solid Waste Management, is sponsoring a debris drop-off spot for residents of District 23 and other nearby areas. The drop-off site will be located at Highview Park in a marked area of the parking lot located off the Briscoe Lane entrance. The debris drop-off will accept fallen trees and other plant materials between the hours of Noon and 8:00 p.m. starting Wednesday (July 26, 2006) and ending Saturday (July 29, 2006). Residents with questions are encouraged to call the office of Councilman James Peden at 574-1123.
