Louisville, KY - Louisville Metro Councilman James Peden will host the 3rd annual McNeely Lake Cleanup on Saturday, September 9, 2006. The cleanup will start at 10:00 a.m. and will last approximately 3 hours. Participants will be given gloves and trash bags to collect debris and overgrown plant materials along the lake. A BBQ Lunch and a performance by Indigo will be provided to event participants starting at 11:00 a.m.

Persons interested in taking part in this event are asked to call the office of Councilman James Peden at 574-1123. McNeely Lake Park is located at 6900 Cooper Chapel Road.
