Metro Councilwoman Vicki Aubrey Welch (D) 13 and Fairdale High School will host Mayor Jerry Abramson on Monday, August 20^th for the Community Conversation.

“This is an opportunity to come and talk with me and the Mayor about anything that’s on your mind,” says Welch. “It is always good to know what problems and concerns people have about their neighborhoods and community.

The Mayor’s Community Conversation will get underway at 6:30pm at Fairdale High School, 1001 Fairdale Road. The Mayor brings representatives of all agencies of Metro Government together to answer questions and or concerns from the public.

Joining Welch will be Metro Council President Rick Blackwell (D) 12 and Councilmen Bob Henderson (D) 14.

“I would also like to invite everyone to come out and ask some questions about what we are doing to make Fairdale High School , a community school which is an issue this district should know more about,” says Welch.
