Music will fill the air along the banks of the Ohio River, when Councilman Bob Henderson (D) 14 joins Mayor Jerry Abramson for a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon at a perfect setting for family and friends.
“We have a great place to sit back and listen to music, have a picnic and enjoy a concert series that has become very popular throughout the city,” says Henderson.
“Music in the Metro” will get underway at Riverside, Farnsley-Moremen Landing at 7410 Moorman Road on Sunday, September 9th.
The featured artists for the event: Artie Dean Harris and Charles Blakemore. Both are Country and Western performers. The concert will convene from 4:00pm to 7:00pm.
“This is not a bad way to get ready for the changing of the seasons, as we move from summer to fall,” says Henderson. “We also have a great place at Riverside and we love to let people know how special this area is.”
