Blackwell joins Southwest YMCA for Trunk or Treat on Friday, October 26th

Metro Council President Rick Blackwell (D) 12 will join the Southwest YMCA at 2800 Fordhaven Road to host a Trunk or Treat on Friday, October 26th from 6:00pm - 8:00 pm.
"This event offers a safe place to have some fun," says Blackwell. "The party is a creative way to bring the community together for safe Halloween fun."
The Trunk or Treat is free for children of all ages. A special area of the YMCA’s parking lot will be roped off as a safe place to trick or treat. The event will feature hot dogs, entertainment and games. Costumes are encouraged for kids and parents.
"It is a little different than your typical Halloween party," says Blackwell. "The Southwest Y is a great place for the family and we plan on having a great time this Friday.”
