LOUISVILLE, KY: The District 20 Office of Councilman Stuart Benson has passed a milestone with the distribution of their 200th edition of the District 20 e-Newsletter. Focusing much of his time on improving the lines of communication between constituents and Metro Government, Councilman Benson established a weekly e-newsletter in April of 2003. In four years, the number of e-newsletter subscribers has increased from a few dozen to nearly 3,000.

“Metro government must do everything we can to reach our constituents. Whether it is through using new technology for newsletters or new approaches to town hall meetings, we must continue to find new means to reaching residents of Metro Louisville. I am proud of the work represented in the previous 200 e-newsletters and look forward to finding even more ways to reach out to residents of District 20.”
