District 26 to hold 4th Annual Health Fair

Louisville, KY – Metro Councilwoman Ellen Call (District 26) will host the 4th Annual District 26 Fair for Metro residents on Saturday, October 13, between the hours of 9 a.m. and Noon. The District 26 Health Fair will be held at the St. Pius X Community Center (3521 Goldsmith Lane).

The Following services/tests will be available to persons attending the health fair:

Ø     Flu shots ($30.00) and Pneumonia shots ($40.00) payable with cash or check accepted. Persons with Medicare Part B, must present insurance cards at the time of vaccination so claims can be submitted on your behalf.

Ø     Life Line Screenings (such as Carotid Vascular Tests, Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Tests) will also be on hand to administer various health tests/screenings for a fee.

Ø     Tests for Peripheral Arterial Disease Screening, Osteoporosis Screening will also be available for those who make advanced appointments by calling 894-9228.

Ø     The Spine Center will have a Chiropractor available and will offer free screenings and massages.

Ø     The Legal Aid Society will also provide an attorney to offer free will/estate planning for low-income seniors.
