Middletown Area Residents invited to attend Meeting on Shelbyville Road Beautification and Safety Project Phase II

Louisville, KY – Metro Councilman Hal Heiner (District 19) and Middletown Mayor Byron Chapman will hold a public meeting on Phase II of the Shelbyville Road Beautification and Safety embargoed Project (SBSP) from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 24, 2007. The meeting will be held at the Middletown Community Center (11700 Main Street in Middletown).
Mayor Chapman and Metro Councilman Heiner will be joined by SBSP Phase II Design Consultant Joel Morrill of The Corradino Group, and Drew Shyrock of Metro Development Authority.
The Phase II corridor includes property beginning at the intersection of Shelbyville Road and North Watterson Trail traveling east past the intersection of Shelbyville Road to Evergreen Road. To date approximately $1,400,000 in funding has been allocated to beautification and safety improvements along the Shelbyville Road.
