Councilman James Peden (District 23) will welcome Metro Animal Services’ S.P.O.T. (Stop Pet Overpopulation Today) mobile unit Saturday, January 27, 2007 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. at the Outer Loop Plaza (7519 Outer Loop)
District 23 pet owners will be able to have their pet’s vaccinated and/or licensed free of charge during this clinic. Residents will also be given the opportunity to have their pet Micro-chipped for a fee of $25.00.
Councilman Peden will use Neighborhood Development Funds to pay for this event. It is hoped that preventative action might help reduce the number of unlicensed animals in neighborhoods.
