Louisville, KY – Councilman Kevin Kramer (District 11) will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony for a new community playground at 1:15 p.m. on Sunday, April 5, 2009. The new playground is located at Hunsinger Lane Baptist Church (3400 Summerfield Drive) and is part of a unique public/private partnership to give our community’s children additional places to play.
“The children of the Four Seasons, Breckenridge Estates, Brookhollow and Westwood Farms Neighborhoods have a new place to play because of cooperation between Metro Government and a local Church. I am proud to see this idea become a reality and look forward to seeing neighborhood children utilizing this new playground.” – Kevin Kramer
This $27,000 playground was funded through the use of District 11 Neighborhood Development Funds on property made available through the Hunsinger Lane Baptist Church. This playground is open to neighborhood children.
