Extreme Park to be closed August 17-19 for repairs

Monday August 2, 2010

The Louisville Extreme Park will be closed from Tuesday, August 17 to Thursday, August 19 for repairs.

During those three days, Metro Parks crews will clean graffiti from the bowls and surrounding areas, paint, replace signs, repair the vertical ramp, and perform maintenance to the grounds around the Extreme Park. Security personnel will be on site to ensure no one uses the park during the closing.

Metro Parks typically closes the park for a few days each year to perform similar work and maintenance. The park is scheduled to re-open on Friday, August 20.
