Family Canoe Day – September 21 at Jefferson Memorial Forest

Jefferson Memorial Forest will offer a Family Canoe Day on September 21 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Tom Wallace Lake. The program is for ages 5 to adult and is perfect for all skill levels – beginners are welcome.
The fee is $10 for a 30 minute canoe rental, and each canoe has capacity to carry maximum of two adults and one child under 12. The fee includes all equipment – canoe, paddles, and personal flotation devices. Families will also be able to rent fishing poles from the Welcome Center and enjoy concessions for purchase from Get it on a Bun at Booty’s food truck.
