Golfers offered a $3 discount during the summer months at Metro Parks courses

Golfers are being offered a $3 discount during the summer months at nine Metro Parks courses.

Citizens can register for a coupon, redeemable at any of the courses, at http://www.louisvilleky.gov/MetroParks/golf/golfspecials.htm. The coupon can be applied to greens and cart fees for an 18-hole round on weekdays between the hours of noon and 4 p.m. during June, July and August.

“Our March promotion was such a huge success we’ve decided to offer it once again,” said Metro Parks Director Mike Heitz. “We’re offering this discount on top of the already low rates our golfers pay, and hoping they’ll take advantage of it.”

Golfers will be able to redeem the coupons through Monday, August 31. Metro Parks is also in the process of developing other discount specials throughout the rest of the year. More information on those discounts, in addition to regular rates and fees, will be found in upcoming weeks at http://www.louisvilleky.gov/MetroParks/golf/golfspecials.htm.
