Public Input Opportunities

The following park improvement projects currently offer opportunities for public input.

Cherokee Park (Hogan's Fountain) Master Plan - developing a new master plan that will guide future improvements to the Hogan's Fountain area of Cherokee Park.

Floyds Fork Greenway - developing a system of parks along a 27-mile stretch of Floyds Fork, between Shelbyville Road and Bardstown Road.

Northeast Louisville Loop Corridor Planning - developing a route and alignment for the northeast segment of the paved Metro Loop path.

Olmsted Parkways Multi-Use Path System - creating improved pedestrian and bicycle opportunities along approximately 10 miles of the parkways that link the major Olmsted parks in Louisville.

Tyler Park Master Plan - developing a new plan that will guide future improvements to Tyler Park.

Wyandotte Park Master Plan - developing a new plan that will guide future improvements to Wyandotte Park.

Mahoney Property Master Plan
In December 2007, Louisville Metro Government purchased a 95-acre farm from the estate of Mae Mahoney, whose family called the property Twin Meadows.

Charlie Vettiner Park Master Plan
Charlie Vettiner Park is a 283-acre park located on Mary Dell Lane off Billtown Road in southern Jefferson County, and includes a 18-hole golf course, hiking trails, a fishing lake, dog run, disc golf and more!
