Improvements to Existing Parks

Capital Improvements

The City of Parks initiative is about more than building new parks.  Louisville Metro Government, with support from several private partners and from bond funding, is investing in an unprecedented level of improvements to the current Metro Parks system.  Since city and county governments merged in January 2003, Metro Parks has completed 181 capital improvement projects worth nearly $24 million, with another 88 projects underway!
