Iroquois Park was planned by Frederick Law Olmsted as a "scenic reservation" of forested hillsides and breathtaking vistas. The park features the WPA-era Iroquois Amphitheater, an open-air theater that accommodates 2,366 people.
The road to the top of the park may be used by pedestrians and cyclists daily throughout the year. It's open to motorists from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays from April through October.
