OTTER CREEK PARK HAS CLOSED

Because of budget cuts, Otter Creek Park was closed to the public on Thursday, January 1, 2009. Existing rentals of the Conference Center will be honored through June 30, 2009; all other rentals will be cancelled and refunded. Read the answers to frequently asked questions about ths closure.

NOTE  

Otter Creek Park remains closed to the public, with the exception of YMCA’s Camp Piomingo, which operates independently under a long-term contract. Metro Parks is also continuing the contract for Nightmare Forest, as well as a Halloween event for children, Little Goblins Galore. Public access will be restricted to the areas where these events are being staged in September and October. Click here and here for more information.
