2008 is promising to be yet another exciting year full of programming the whole family can enjoy at Otter Creek Park! Below is the full listing of Adventure Programming and Campground Events through December 2008. For more information on individual events, call 502/574-4583.

Lost, but Found, Safe and Sound
Dates March through October to be announced
Meet at Eagle Pass Pavilion. A program for children, presented by the Jefferson County Search Dog Association. Free. 


Canoe the Ohio River to Brandenburg
Sat, April 26, September 27, meet at 10 a.m.
Meet at Riverfront boat landing. Fee: $25/person preregistered. $30 the day of the event. Trip is limited to 10 canoes.

Derby Campout
Fri & Sat, May 2 and 3
Join us at the campground Friday night to kick off Derby festivities. Events and crafts for the whole family follow on Saturday.

Mother's Day Craft
Sat, May 10, 2 p.m.
Meet at Eagle Pass Pavilion. Fee: $5/person

Rappel Van Buren Cliff
Sat, May 25, August 31, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
Fee: $15/person preregistered, $20 day of the event

Father's Day Craft
Sat, June 14, 10 a.m.
Meet at Eagle Pass Pavilion. Fee: $5/person.

Rappel at the Rock Quarry
Sat, June 28, August 23, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
Fee: $10/person preregistered, $12 day of the event.

Summerfest/Threshing Days at Otter Creek Park
Sat, July 5, Sun, July 6, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

Climb the Alpine Tower
Sat, July 12, August 2, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
Meet at Boone Hollow Recreation area.
Fee: $15/person preregistered, $20 day of the event.

Adventure Race
Sat, September 20

Rock Climbing at the Rock Quarry
Sat, July 26, August 16, September 13, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
Meet at the Rock Quarry. Fee: $10/person preregistered. $12 the day of the event.

Otter Creek Trail Marathon
Sun, December 14
