Metro Parks offers year-round swimming and fitness opportunities at the indoor Mary T. Meagher Aquatic Center, and operates several outdoor summer pools.

The Mary T. Meagher Aquatic Center offers lap swim, water exercise and swim lessons, as well as a weight room with Cybex, free weight and cardio equipment. Metro Parks pools require photo ID for anyone age 9 and over (children under 9 must be accompanied by a guardian).
Our Aquatics program provides swimming classes year round and lifeguard training courses from January through June. For more information on lifeguard employment opportunities, click here. For information on the classes necessary to become a lifeguard, click here.
