The shorter days and cooler temperatures of winter will mean reduced hours of operation for some of Metro Parks community centers, and facilities.
Tennis Courts
Most tennis court lights are turned off November 30th of each year until spring. Lights will stay on at the following courts:
· Fern Creek Park – 9 p.m.
· Highview Park - 9 p.m.
· Crescent Hill Park – 9 p.m.
· Chickasaw Park – 10 p.m.
· Seneca Park – 10 p.m.
· Iroquois Park – 10 p.m.
· Southwest Government Center – 10 p.m.
Farnsley-Moremen
Currently, the Farnsley-Moremen House is open from 10 - 4:30 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday and 1 - 4:30 p.m. on Sunday. Beginning Dec. 5, the house will be closed for admission on Sundays, although regular Sunday hours will resume on Sunday, March 6, 2011.
